Be open to surprises. After you let go.

Have you ever noticed that when you want something really badly, it usually doesn't happen. But when you finally give up and stop focusing on it, that's when it usually shows up?
People use different words to describe that phenomena:
  • What you resist persist. If you want something really badly you usually focus on the fact that you don't have it yet and you don't like it, in other words resisting the fact that it's not here yet and by that keeping in place the reality where it's not here yet.
  • Vadim Zeland in his book series "Reality Transurfing" calls it "importance". And letting go of importance is the remedy he recommends to get things flowing and transferring you to a life track where your desire is manifested.

I am just amazed how even when I am aware of this, I still have resistances in my life. They are rare, hence I need a whole new level of triggers to bring it up in me (i.e. now it's not having a job December 1 and now having clarity yet what I want to do instead and how I will create money).

Big part of October I spent in resistance to being in the unknown and not having all the answers. And now when I after coming back from San Francisco kizomba festival and dancing 16 hours a day for 3 days straight my brain must have been turned off and let go of all that struggle things finally started to flow again. And everything is changing quickly.
Just in the last 5 days this is what showed up:
  • I have rented my Sedona house fully so that mortgage is covered and gives me some extra cash.
  • I met an amazing guy who is incredibly aligned with who I am and where I am at in my life right now.
  • My Seattle house is still not rented but he gave me an idea to try to rent out separate rooms on airbnb instead of the whole house and still live in one room. I never thought of that and it can totally work. So it looks like I may after all be staying in Seattle for November and December. which I definitely didn't plan for even a few days ago.
  • And now I had a late night chat with my coach friend from Switzerland and got recommended a book and got lots of ideas how I can create clients with fun and ease (rather than feeling like I need to sell them my services).

So what I reminded myself about again is this: it's important to set an intention, but if there is a strong attachment to it or importance about it, it can actually push it away. And when you feel like you give up on it, or forget about it, that's when the energy finally starting to flow and your intention starts to materialize in reality, very often surprising you.

Note to self:
  • set the intention but then let go of how and when it should show up
  • go with the flow and be open to change of plans
  • trust that there is always a solution that will uncover itself in its due timing
  • find comfort in the unknown
  • be open to surprises. Even better: expect them!

Excited to what's next!
